We made an appointment to leave our dog on a trial basis for one day. When we entered the building it was in terrible condition. The teenaged boy, who didn't seem to know what he was doing, said we could put him in a kennel but it was dirty. We asked if our dog would be on his own and his answer was that "this is a boarding kennel". From the smell, noise and dirt and inefficient management, we looked at each other and said that we are not leaving our dog here.
This place may have been a pet resort in the 60's, but it is extremely run down now. They do not even have a functioning pet bath. When you enter the reception that smells of cat urine, there are flies buzzing around everywhere. We unfortunately left our dog there for two nights and when we picked him up he was very skittish and had contracted pink eye. The first thing he did was urinate for around 2 minutes straight. Our poor dog was obviously neglected. We would NEVER go back.
