Very fast friendly service. The waitress recommended a deliciious pasta dish. All the food was great. Great for birthday parties (children) Tables are covered with paper so young children can colour or draw while waiting to keep them content. Great family atmosphere. Bring one bring all. A fine place to dine.
We arrived at Montanas around 8:00pm last night. There was no host at the door, so we sat at the bar. A young woman (pleasant enough at first) took our drink order and we informed her that we were just going to have a drink and and app in the bar and order some take out. She took our order, and delivered drinks and our anjitos. (Which were good). We waited...and waited... Empty drinks in hand, and no sign of our take out. She came over and said, "You guys ok?" We ordered another round of drinks and finished them... Still no sign of our take out. We ordered a tenderloin steak Rare, and a cobb salad. After an hour, I asked how much longer our take out would be. She said, "Oh, its ready. I was just keeping it in the kitchen." We asked for our bill and went home. I thought it was in bad taste to not let us know when our food was ready in hopes for a bigger bill by bar sales. Our food wasn't under the heat lamp (as the steak would have been overcooked) but left on a counter. When we brought it home, everything was cold, salad was missing dressing, and the darker leaves in the mixed green mix were... ROTTEN! Steak was flavourless and had so much gristle in it we couldn't cut it. Needless to say our bill was $90.00 and our food ended up in the trash when we got home. Never will return!
Overall everything was great. The the restaurant was busy as it was Saturday night. Food arrived in about 25 minutes but it was hot and very tasty. The service was excellent and we had a great time.
Went as a family dinner. The food was ok. Took a while to get to the table. Portion sizes were a joke!!! My 3 year old son had more food on his plate then all the adults. Was amazed it takes longer to cook shrimp then a medium well steak!!. My 3 year old plate cost 8.99. The food is very overpriced.The only thing that kept us there was the waitress was very nice. Will never go back!!!
