We were looking forward to our meal based on good reviews on this site and having passed the location a couple times. Upon first entering, we were charmed by the intimate and cozy interior. Service was friendly, altho a bit slow, but understandable, only one girl serving the whole place. The miso soup tasted like salted water, the salad wilted with a watery, flavourless dressing. We ordered the kalbi and love bridge B. The kalbi was average, we were disappointed with the size of the dish (about 3 la-style short ribs), considering it cost $18.50 with no banchan offered either. The love bridge was unfortunately not the greatest experience. Altho the portion of the fish offered was good, it was not fresh and tasted like it came out recently from the freezer. The sushi rice in both the rolls and nigiri was mushy and cold. The deep-fried crab in the spider roll was chewy and felt like it had been sitting out all day, it lacked the light crispiness normally associated with this dish. We were thoroughly disappointed and decided not to return again.
the atmospher of this restaurant was amazing, the food was Excellent!! chirashi shushi(sliced of sashimi on a bed of sushi rice) is one of my favorite dish and sashimi was very fresh probably the best sashimi i ever had in my life!! the plating was very beautiful. the sushi men went out side when it was rainig and got a beatiful flower to decorate the dish. other food was amzing too and service was excellent!! i will visit there again!!

Food quality could have been better. The tempura was very oily (it was shining in the light), I'm guessing they did not fry it at a hot enough temperature. Rice portions were very small. The server seemed very disoriented the entire time we were there and forgot simple things like bringing us the bill and following up on our change (she was very friendly though). The place is clean and nicely decorated with ambient lighting. I might come back another day.
Everything was fantastic. Super fresh ingredients. I could see the chef peeling some avocados for our maki. The chef sent over complimentary hand rolls as well. Highly recommended.
