Food was excellent and service of food was reasonably fast with a nice presentation. Drink service was a bit slow but our server was very friendly and helpful. Love the mixture of Indian and pub cuisine.
Server was very rude to us!!! I have never experienced such a jerk before. Food was great. However, the total rudeness of the server made me never want to come back.
Great food as always!! Love the chips with curry, and the veg. sandwich is always delicious. Service was a bit slow, however this is a pub, so it's to be expected.
Quick and pleasant server Fast and fantastic food, even at 11:30 at night, the entire menu was open. We had just come from waiting and waiting for service at another establishment, and my friends was starving. Walking into the Pennywhistle was like a breath of fresh air, I felt as though I had gone from an invisable no body at another venue, to becoming a queen at Pennywhistle. Comment. Go there, food is always good, and service is quick, and comftorbal. you can even use the house darts and play a game if your borred. Loved it
This is the best place in Guelph, hands down, to buy curries. I've been every week for almost two years. Great draft beer selection. Can get pretty busy on Friday/Saturday nights, so try to get there before 6:30. During all other times, however, survice is lightning fast, dinner always brought within 15 minutes of ordering, piping hot.
