Elizabeth Kusche started the Elle V Hair Salon in 2008 with an empty building and a life-long passion for hairstyling. "I built it from scratch," she explains. "It was just concrete walls—nothing else." Everything at the Elle V Hair Salon, from the hand-picked staff to the colour and design scheme, has been carefully built from scratch over the years to match Elizabeth's unique vision. "I always wanted something different. Since 2000 I've lived in Surrey, and I didn’t see anything nice enough," Elizabeth explains. "I wanted typical European style—open, very modern. Kind of a Vancouver style salon."
Elizabeth has since dedicated herself to finding the highest quality stylists to match the elegance of her studio, and to give her customers the best in modern hair styling.
I've been coming to this establishment since opening day. Dealt with many different stylists & have always been pleased with them all. Annie has been my longest term stylist (my choice of stylist when ever I come in). They provide great men's haircut services and it comes along with a fun social environment from all the staff. Prices are average for what you would expect from a professional hair salon. If you come here long enough, the staff is like a second family.
I had a consulatation with ANNIE prior to my appointment, showed her a few photos to give an idea of what I like, we settled on one look after SHE told me it was achievable, we agreed that I wanted something low maintanence, ashy, blended in. I now look like a zebra. I have highlights starting at the scalp, they aren't even slightly blended in and I hate it. I went back to see her, she went back on her word, told me what I wanted couldn't be done, would try to fix it if I paid her more money.
My friend, Linda, recommended me this salon, ever since then I have been a regular here for the past two years. They charge $25+tax for a men's cut. Which includes the cut, wash, hot towels (for the face) and the scalp massage. It was the first salon I ever encountered that provided this level of professional service. They literally go above and beyond with their service, non rushed, attention to detail in every way. I highly recommend coming to Elle V and give it a try!
I had my gotten my hair ombre by someone else and it was so horrible! So I went to Elle V and had Annie as my hair stylist. Not only did Annie fix it but she made it 10x more nicer and got it exactly how I wanted it done. On top of that she did my hair in a way where it wouldn't damage my hair to the extreme. I've been going to Annie ever since and she's honestly the best regardless of how often I wanted to do do/change my hair style she always got it done in the best way !
I've been going to Elle V Hair for over 5 years now and I've got to say Lizzie and Annie are the most amazing hairstylists there. Lizzie is great at teasing my hair and doing hair updos. Annie has had to fix my poor, damage hair in the past performed by a different hairstylist. She listens to me tentatively to what I want to be done on my hair and explains to me what can and cannot be done. Because of her great knowledge skills on hair products, I listen to what she gotta say.. my hair always turned out great. I always receive good compliments about my hair from my coworkers and friends each time I get my hair dyed. I couldn't be any more satisfied with their amazing work.
