Labour Day weekend is approaching and we find ourselves asking the same question we do every year : what’s open and what’s closed? It’s nice to take advantage of the opportunity to say home and do nothing but sometimes we feel like we’re looking for a little something more. So, to help you make the most of your long weekend, we’re sharing our notes on what’s open and closed on Labour Day weekend.[source: CBC]

Convenience stores
Pharmacies
Gas stations
Your neighborhood bookshop
SAQ Express and Classic except for those that are located in a shopping centre, which are closed.
Some museums (Insectarium, Biodôme, Planetarium, Pointe-à-Callière) but check before you go.
Note: the STM is operating with modified hours.
