I was our first visit to this neighbourhood pub. It is a small restaurant with low ceilings and panelled in dark wood. The seating is very comfortable. The menu is small, however it offers something for everyone. We tried their signature dish "Oyster po' boy" ($15). It is served with a roasted tomato soup drizzled with rich basil oil. We had the crab cakes and a salad to start and we both so enjoyed the sabelfish entree. It was one of the best sablelfish fish I have ever had, it was so moist and served overall in a healthy manner. We shared their chocolate molten cake dessert which was gooey good. Just as we were about to leave we noticed live music at 9pm so we stayed a little more longer to enjoy with some hot drinks. We ate at Rosie's on Robson while on vacation in Vancouver. We stayed at the Westin a few blocks up the street the location seemed convenient. Rosie's markets itself as a British pub style eatery with a good selection of draught beer. When we got seated at our table, the temperature was very warm. The staff claimed the air conditioning at the maximum level but we found that hard to believe. The decor also appeared to be quite outdated. When our food arrived, the veggie burger was found to be slightly under-cooked. The spring rolls were very good but the portion size was small (2 rolls cut into halves). My bruschetta was very good and the portion was decently sized. Although the restaurant was not terrible, I would not recommend it due to the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Read more

I have visited their restaurant once before and had a nice dinner experience with friends but wanted to enjoy my meal this night at home so I ordered takeout. I had their bacon wrapped chicken which was prepared just right. The bacon was crispy and the chicken very moist. A good helping of yummy mashed potatoes, asparagus puree and an Asian coleslaw so hopefully you like cilantro. The food was ready at the bar for pickup. Read more
