We have been to Mediteraneo several times. Each visit has always delivered an excellent meal. I usually have the Lamb dinner and while you might pay a bit more for this, it is a very large order, with delicious lemon roast potatoes, tzaziki, rice and a greek salad. Enough to share or take home to tmorrows lunch. I have also had the lamb souvlaki dinner and while you might only get one skewer of meat, you also get the rice, potato, salad and tzaziki. I love the service but only when Andrea serves myself and my wife, before that we had gone through waitress after waitress getting crapy service and leaving the girls without a tip as they would never come and check on us until it was time to pay, but when we learned we could request the waitress we wanted everything got soooo much better. This girl is on fire! she has a bubbly attitude and knows what you want when you want it. Shes the best waitress any restaurant could ask for and I wish we could clone her for other restaurants. The food is great and we love the french toast!! and OMG the honey dijon mustard is crazy and out of this world!!! order that with the chicken tenders and I swear you will be one happy customer! I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable. Probably the best pub food in Guelph. Have eaten their so many times, never been dissapointed. Their menu is huge, and filled with all the pub food you can think of. Service is usually OK. It is a sit yourself bar, you just walk in and sit down and a server will come to you. They have huge booths to the back corner which are great because we always go in a huge group, usually for foreign people, and I find the servers are very understanding and patient compared to other places over the inevitable miscommunications that occur. I have found this place gets a little busy from time to time, so service does slow down, but is still not as bad as other places in guelph. the atmostphere is not bad, but it does get very very very noisy! I've been to Harry's on multiple occasions with different groups of people. Have been pleasantly suprised each time with great food and excellent service. The pizza is homemade and very tasty. Wings are good, but not their specialty. Pasta is excellent is as well. Beer on tap is fresh (usually have Stella) and haven't had any issues. This is a great place to visit for lunch, after work with the guys (they have pool tables upstairs) or on a date with that special girl. A rare treat! Read more

I visited Swiss Chalet with low expectations. My four year old son was excited about the toys they offered so we went for a quick dinner. I was pleasently surprised. We sat with a young waitress who I unfortunatly also held low expectations for. At such a young age I doubted that she knew much...however she provided us with better service than we had recieved in a chain..maybe ever. She brought our meals promptly, was attentive, we didnt need to ask for refills, and when my son spilt on himself, she cleaned it all up and even stopped his crying. The food wasn't great, but as long as you have service like that, I would be back anytime. Read more
