Carmelos Ristorante

While there are some good pizza joints in West Vancouver, few can match the pies coming out of Carmelo’s wood-fired oven. Their pizzas are a truly authentic experience, from amazing toppings like prosciutto and fresh scallops to a deliciously smoky and perfectly blistered thin crust. They also have a wide selection of wines by the glass (and even more by the bottle), making this place the perfect spot for date night.

Pudgie's Pizza

6620 Royal Ave, West Vancouver, BC V7W 2B9

This is a favourite last stop for many travellers looking to avoid the cafeteria rush on the ferry, or for those heading north to Whistler, Pemberton and beyond. They have a number of pasta and seafood dishes on their menu, but they’re really known for their awesome pizza. The crust is handmade with a perfectly crisp exterior, and is piled high with fresh toppings. This is great pie that you can have by the slice or whole.

Sorrento Pizza

All the pizzas at Sorrento’s start out the same way – on a high quality whole wheat thin crust base, followed by the freshest toppings available. It’s easy to see why this little pizzeria is one of West Vancouver’s favourites. With more than 30 varieties available to choose from, they have options for everyone from vegetarians to strict carnivores. They also have party deals when you’re entertaining a crowd.

Rocky Mountain Flatbread

Rocky Mountain Flatbread, located in Park Royal, prides themselves on their local roots and use of only sustainable, organic ingredients. Their crust is a non-traditional one, combining white and whole-wheat flours, and their toppings are generous and flavourful. They also do a very decent gluten-free version and their kids menu will definitely please the little ones.

On a cold, snowy Edmonton night, nothing says lovin’ like a cup of hot chocolate. It’s no surprise this drink was originally dubbed the “elixir of the gods.” Regardless of the variety you select, or whether you opt for the simplest hot chocolate on the menu, all I can say is ... don’t forget the marshmallows.
You don’t have to travel to Paris to have a true fine-dining experience; you can enjoy an upscale dinner, complete with a five-course meal and fine wine, right here at home. Victoria is a fine-dining destination with an excellent reputation – where talented chefs enjoy crafting delicious gourmet dishes from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Paired with a nice cup of coffee or topped with a scoop of ice cream, pie is unbeatable comfort food. And yet it faces stiff competition from cupcakes as the city’s dessert of choice. Well, pie is fighting back with old fashioned deliciousness as well as new and tantalizing flavours.
