Found this on day two of our five days here and never went anywhere else. We had a variety of meals there and everything was fabulous. Met the owner, Karen, and she told us everything that can be, is real. No factory food, boil in a bag stuff here. And we eat in alot of restaurants these days. Trust me...that is a rarity. And so is being able to order bacon and eggs at 7 at night. The staff were great and made us laugh like crazy. When we go back to Campbell River for fishing, we are going to Banners. Hey Oceansider (see below), the wait person should not have told your kids to get their hands off the windows. That should be your job. Why should they have to clean your kid's sticky handprints off the windows? I really can't understand why people will give a restaurant a bad rating because they can't control their children. We go to Yorkys regularly and we find it a great chip shop! The fish and chips are as good as any we get in Wales!!! The paper wrap and the vinegar and salt splash make it authentic. If you fancy a good filling meal, this is definitely a place to visit....very reasonably priced. Read more
