The CEPSUM is the sports complex at the University of Montreal, and one of the largest multi-sport complexes in Quebec. They have many racquetball courts, including squash, that are available for free play, and can be rented fro 45 to 80 minutes. The CEPSUM also offers private and semi-private lessons for those interested in playing like the pros. With your membership, you also have access to the venue’s many other sports facilities, such as a pool and a rock-climbing wall.

There are adult and youth squash programs available, to develop good technique and find well matched playing partners. All of the courts have glass back walls with bleachers on the exterior so you can watch the games while you wait your turn. Junior squash is also available.

Club West Island

Although the Club West Island is now a multi-sports facility, complete with an ice rink, fitness equipment, spinning and yoga rooms, it was first built as a racquet sports complex. They have four international squash courts and cater to players of all abilities. Their active squash membership hosts social activities, and you can participate in monthly box ladders, Montreal Squash League teams, the house league and the occasional squash tournament.

They have round robin games throughout the week and supervised squash clinics, where pros provide basic instruction and training. On Mondays, they offer supervised squash clinics and a clinic for women only, where beginners and seasoned player can improve their technique.
